Why DefendIT Services Exists
Chris Hannifin founded DefendIT Services after seeing how reactive support and security gaps could disrupt organizations that depend on technology. Based in San Antonio, the company was built to bring IT operations, cybersecurity, and compliance guidance into one coordinated relationship.
Chris brought extensive experience across cybersecurity, enterprise IT, commercial organizations, and the public sector. Eric Diaz later joined the leadership team as Chief Technology Officer and Partner, contributing deep experience in managed services, cloud infrastructure, networking, security operations, and technical service delivery.
Together, they shaped a practical, security-first approach. DefendIT Services works to identify risks early, explain recommendations clearly, document the environment, and connect technology decisions to operational priorities.
